Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Born Zippy website and the purchase of our children’s adaptive clothing and related products. By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use this website.
Born Zippy operates in Ireland and complies with applicable Irish and European Union consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2022 and EU distance selling regulations.
1. About Our Brand
Born Zippy® is a registered trademark. The brand name, logo, product names, designs, and associated branding elements are legally protected. Unauthorised use, reproduction, imitation, or commercial exploitation of our trademark or brand assets is strictly prohibited.
Born Zippy specialises in adaptive clothing designed for children, including garments created to support additional dressing needs, comfort requirements, and accessibility considerations.
2. Use of Our Website
This website is intended for use by adults aged 18 or over. By placing an order, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disrupt, or impair its operation. We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access where these Terms are breached.
3. Our Adaptive Clothing Products
We design and supply adaptive clothing for children. While our garments are created to assist with comfort and accessibility needs, they are not medical devices and are not a substitute for professional medical advice.
We make every reasonable effort to ensure that product descriptions, fabric details, sizing guides, adaptive features, and care instructions are accurate. However, sizing remains approximate, and parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring suitability for their child’s specific needs.
Product colours may vary slightly depending on device display settings. All products are subject to availability.
4. Orders and Contract Formation
After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This does not constitute acceptance of your order. A binding contract is formed only when the goods are dispatched.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders in cases of pricing errors, stock unavailability, suspected fraud, or misuse. If payment has been taken and the order is cancelled, a full refund will be issued.
5. Pricing and Payment
All prices are displayed in Euro (€) and include VAT where applicable.
Prices may change without notice but will not affect confirmed orders. Payment must be made in full at checkout via secure third-party payment providers. We do not store complete payment card details.
6. Delivery
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to postal delays or circumstances beyond our control.
Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery. Ownership transfers once full payment has been received.
7. Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)
Under EU consumer law, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.
To exercise this right, you must notify us within the 14-day period. You then have a further 14 days to return the items.
Returned goods must be unworn, unused, in their original condition, with tags attached and in original packaging where possible. For hygiene reasons, certain items (such as swimwear) may not be eligible for return if opened or hygiene seal is removed, unless faulty.
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return. Standard delivery costs will be refunded where required by law. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
8. Faulty or Incorrect Goods
If an item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to remedies in accordance with Irish consumer law, which may include repair, replacement, or refund.
Please contact us promptly if there is an issue with your order.
9. Product Safety and Supervision
Our adaptive garments are designed with children’s comfort and accessibility in mind. However, parents and guardians remain responsible for supervision and ensuring the suitability of any garment, particularly where items include fastenings, sensory components, or small decorative elements.
Always follow the care and safety instructions provided.
10. Intellectual Property

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any content without our prior written consent.
11. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for breach of statutory consumer rights.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Born Zippy shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of this website or purchase of products.
12. Privacy
Any personal data you provide is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
